Hiar collects certain information about you and your use of the
service. We strive to collect as little as possible. On this
page, you can read about what data we collect, how, and why.
Authentication
When you sign up for Hiar, you do so with your email address or a social media, which is used to identify you and log in to the system. We store the only your email address and no password or other sensitive information and the email will also be used as a default contact method for candidates on profiles and applications but can be changed or removed at any time.
Payment & Subscription
Hiar does not store your payment card information. In case you sign up for Hiar+, we securely transmit your information to Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe, however, retains the information for later use in connection with subscriptions and payments. For details, refer to {"Stripe's"} own privacy policy and security information here .
Non-Personal Information
We may collect non-identifiable information, such as IP address and device type. We may also gather additional anonymous information to understand usage patterns on the service and share insights with users (e.g., how many users have visited a particular page).

Hiar uses cookies to recognize you, so you are logged in each ime you visit the site.
Data Sharing
If you use Hiar as an applicant, you will create a profile and possibly one or more job applications with sensitive personal data. Hiar has access to this data, and as a general rule, none of this data is shared with third parties. {"It's"} up to you whether you want your profile and thus your data to be visible, private, or completely hidden.
Your profile is hidden and not searchable by default. You can make it visible to everyone or only to companies you apply to at any time in your settings.
You can apply to companies in two ways: through the share link or directly through the platform.
If you apply directly through the platform, the company will have access to your profile and application data. The company has agreed to our terms and conditions and privacy policy and is not allowed to share your data with anyone else. The company can only use your data for the purpose of the job application and must not store your data after the application process is completed.
he share link is for companies you apply to and is not searchable or visible to anyone else. We are not responsible for the data you share with companies you apply to through the share link.
Hiar does not share your personal information with anyone or anything unless we have your explicit approval. We reserve the right in he future to share selected data with companies and professional users on Hiar, enabling candidate searches.
Data Deletion
You can request to have your account and all your data deleted at any time. Some data may be retained for accounting and similar archival purposes, but it will be anonymized if so. If you want to access, correct, or delete your data, you have the right to do so at any time. Send an email, and we will look into it.

Data Storage
Data is stored on servers in the United States, and we use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our hosting provider. AWS is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, ensuring that your data is stored and processed in accordance with European data protection laws.
Our software provider is Supabase and is also certified under he EU-US Privacy Shield. Read their privacy policy here .
